My Saturday started off watching videos on YouTube and I came across puppy chow tutorials and my sister suggested we should give it a go. So we had to run get some ingredients to start our experiment LOL funny enough I volunteered to help my sister in the kitchen :O (I know it's a miracle) :P
Here are step by step method to nomy nomy Puppy Chow 🐶 all the ingredients were bought from Aldi and they were under £10 *under budget ya know*
1) For ingredients you need some wheat shreds, milk chocolate bars, icing sugar, peanut butter and smarties (optional).
2) Pour half a bag of wheat shreds in a bowl
3) Break the chocolate bars in a container (depending on your likings whether you want it more chocolatey or not)
4) On top add some peanut butter ( I know not many people are a big fan of peanut butter so it's your choice to add it or not)
5) My sister decided she needed more taste ( according to her that means more chocolate) so she went for nuttella and who doesn't love nuttella it's heavily but it's completely up to you
6) Now after adding all the above in a container let's it melt for 30 secs in a microwave. After 30 secs stir it all with a spoon to create a textured mixture. (smelt so good) 😍
7) Add the chocolate mixture into the wheat shreds bowl and stir until every single shreds been covered
8) Grab a plastic bag (food/lunch bags) and pour half a cup of icing sugar
9) Add the chocolate covered shreds in the icing sugar bag and shake it until you can see the icing sugar has covered every single shred
10) Finally pour the shreds on a large tray and BOOM the Puppy Chows are ready..
11) Now comes the fun part, also an optional part. You can decorate or add more stuff to the Puppy Chows to make it look presentable. We went for smarties as they are colourful and they look cute :)
That's how our Puppy Chow turned out. What do you guys think? I feel so American LOL honestly they taste so good but, it depends on your taste. Do give it a try and trust me you'll enjoy the process if you are someone like me who likes food done in no minute #TeamLazy haha ☺️🙈
Hope you guys enjoyed the pictorial and do let us know if you would like to see more of the quick recipes.
